Cancellation, Withdrawal and Refunds

  • Not downloaded yet? 14-day withdrawal right, full refund.
  • Already downloaded? The withdrawal right lapses — but we still refund faulty data.
  • Cancel a subscription any time in your account, effective at the end of the current period.
  • Collection failed? Credits are returned automatically.

1. Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract was concluded.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us by means of a clear statement (for example, by email) of your decision. To meet the deadline it is sufficient that you send your communication before the period expires.

2. Early Expiry of the Withdrawal Right

For the supply of digital content, the right of withdrawal lapses once we have begun performance, after you have

  • expressly consented to us beginning performance before the withdrawal period expires, and
  • acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal by giving that consent.

Both are asked for separately at checkout and recorded. For as long as you have not downloaded a dataset, your withdrawal right remains in place.

3. Refunds

Independently of the statutory withdrawal right, we refund in the following cases:

  • The collection failed or was aborted: credits are returned automatically, without a request.
  • The dataset is unusable — empty, technically broken, or plainly collected for the wrong city. Contact us within 14 days of download and we refund in full.
  • A duplicate charge or other billing error: full refund as soon as the error comes to our attention.

We do not refund datasets that were delivered in full and match their description but contain fewer entries than the customer hoped for. How many businesses a city has is decided by the city, not by us — which is why every dataset can be inspected in the preview before it is downloaded.

Refunds are made to the same payment method used for the purchase, normally within 14 days. You will not incur any fees for this.

4. Cancelling a Subscription

You can cancel a subscription yourself at any time in your account, without giving reasons and without contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for; access remains until then.

There is no pro-rata refund for the current period. Credits already granted do remain yours, however: they expire only at the end of their own twelve-month validity from the date they were granted. Cancelling simply stops future credits.
